psychology

In theory emotional processing happens when an event ceases to exist. The said event is absorbed then processed. The study I conducted proves that until such a thing can happen, our lives, our very being is influenced by these events. This may be common knowledge but, what I have researched suggests that the longer we hold a grudge, or feel sorrow, the worse we feel day to day. Take a rainy day for example, on a rainy day you feel sad. The longer you feel sad the worse you feel physically. This leads to my next point, trance writing. Trance writing can be an effective tool. In a study group of 12 people, tested a ten-thirty a.m. showed that trance writing brought their emotions to the surfaces and helped them process the event better.

The study proved that emotional processing does exist. The study also proved that writing helped with processing trauma and the like. The driving question was will trance writing help? It did, and I believe that it will.
